Retail Assistant

• A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person, via phone and email.
• Point of Sales system - scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Replenishing stock, ensuring the Retail offering is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager.
• Cash handling skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Advising & serving customers.
• Promoting store cards or special offers.
• Meet pre-determined sales targets.
• Making sure the store remains tidy.

Description

The opportunity has arisen for Retail Assistants to work in our gorgeous location at Avoca Mount Usher Gardens. This role is a temporary part-time role with an immediate start.

• Cleanliness/Organisation is essential in this role.
• Excellent timekeeping is a key requirement.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills is essential.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure.
• The capacity to use your initiative.
• Previous retail experience desirable
