Bookkeeping Outsourcing Manager

What you'll do

• Lead and manage the offshore bookkeeping team based in India.

• Provide clear direction, coaching and ongoing support.

• Hold regular team meetings and performance reviews.

• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new bookkeeping staff.

• Monitor productivity, utilisation and team performance.

• Manage the end-to-end bookkeeping workflow across the outsourcing function.

• Allocate work according to deadlines, complexity and team capacity.

• Ensure all client work is delivered accurately and on time.

• Coordinate priorities between the Irish office and India.

• Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as the primary contact for bookkeeping queries and operational matters.

• Understand each client's bookkeeping processes and expectations.

• Ensure excellent communication throughout the bookkeeping cycle.

• Manage client onboarding and transitions to the offshore team.

• Ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance with Irish bookkeeping standards.

• Maintain high-quality service delivery across all assignments.

• Develop and maintain bookkeeping procedures and best practices.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy, driving greater use of automation and cloud accounting technology.
