The role
Cantillon Group, an award-winning convenience retailer, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Cork. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and is ready to take the next step in their retail career.
Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the store.
What you'll do
Delivering friendly, professional customer service and ensuring every customer has a positive experience
Offering helpful advice and assistance to meet customer needs
Maintaining stock availability and ensuring shelves are well stocked and presented
Keeping the store clean, organised, and inviting through high standards of housekeeping and merchandising
Following cash handling procedures and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
Minimising waste through effective stock rotation and stock management
Handling customer queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
Supporting the Store Manager with the smooth day-to-day operation of the store and other duties as required
