The role

One of Ireland's leading and award-winning home care providers, Right at Home are currently hiring full-time Home Care Assistants and Rapid Responders and welcome applicants from County Meath.

What you'll do

  • Assisting clients with personal and practical care

  • Supporting independence and social involvement

  • Maintaining dignity, privacy and respect at all times

  • Reporting any issues or changes to your manager

Required Competencies and Training

  • Compassion, patience, and empathy

  • Dependable and attentive, with a strong commitment to high-quality care

  • Great communication skills with clients and support team

  • Ability to work independently and follow policies and safety standards

  • Experience providing care (desirable)

  • 2 QQI Level 5 modules (Care Skills and Care of the Older Person) (required)

  • Up-to-date Patient Moving & Handling certificate (training provided if needed)

  • International Police Clearance (if applicable)

  • Drivers with access to own car due to locations
