We're looking for a Software Development Engineer to help us build the future of network availability at unprecedented scale.

Key job responsibilities

As an SDE II in TrafficShift, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining AWS's foundational networking service that enables rapid event mitigation and safe deployment of configuration updates across Amazon's global network infrastructure.

Work in an agile, startup-like development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff.

-You will design and implement significant components and features that ensure network reliability, working within the Global Connectivity and Network Availability organization.

-You will collaborate with network engineers and various stakeholders, participate in architectural discussions, mentor junior team members, and contribute to operational excellence through code reviews, system optimization, and best practices implementation.
